Hello there
Just saying hello after getting my first Cavalier. Its a mighty 1.6 GL but ultra low millage, garaged all its life and I think was still on the original tyres from 89! (rock hard)

Welcome to the forum!
Love your motor, it's so totally original and tidy, and with that mileage a seriously good investment. You just keeping her clean and tidy or any ideas in mind?

Hi Felix and welcome your car looks wonderful and a great color.for peace of mind it would be worth finding out when the timing belt and water-pump were last changed.the info on here suggests the belt should be done at 30k mile/3 year intervals with the pump every 4th year. good luck with the car and well done with the purchase.

Welcome to the forum!
Looks like a stunning example you have there.
I see you have your location down as Portsmouth.
We have regular meetings in that area, our next one is currently being planned for sometime in August if you wanted to come along:

Thanks for the welcomes. It was the classic little old lady using it once a week to go to the shops car. Will come up portsdown hill in August to say hello.
Yes just keeping her tidy and up together, one job to do is the headlining as it's falling away at the back, but I will crack on with that soon. Cheers everybody.
