this is the only one i can find at the mo of my old Rover 400 1.6 s before its demise (my own fault) the k-series engine in it was fairly nice thing to work on if you didnt mind the odd grazed knuckle.

i was due to overhaul the engine about 2 weeks after i did this due to the head gasket was aout to give up the ghost, so glad i hadn't been and bought the gear for it.

still do have a softspot for the 400/45/zs's

I've been tempted many times by the vw marque.... first the polo was a cracker, then offered a mk2 (mk1) cabriolet gti with a 2.0 mk4 gti lump in and a friend bought a bus a while ago... I sometimes buy the vw tuner mags, I feel like I'm cheating

Hi guys :) this was my first car, the famously rare Mitsubishi Colt MK2, which is basically the hatch version of the first Galants. 1.3 liter carb, 12V engine which actually was impressively torquey  Anyways it cost me just £100, with tax and MOT for a long time, but that was only because it was a friend of my dads who sold it. Still, i basically drove it for almost a year and took it for the MOT thinking it was ok, but it ended up filling a sheet and a half on the failures :( Corroded brake pipes all round, emissions, headlamp aim, few other bits, but the guy said it was around the £400 for repairs  :wall so i ended up getting another car instead. Shame, i really miss this great little car :(

Then i discovered the LED's  Thats where it all began
