Welcoming Iangsi to the mods team
This is just a quick notice to advise all club members,
That due to continued changes behind the scenes,
I felt it necessary to draft in another member to the Admin / Mods team.
For a few months, Humbucker and Lowrider Dave have taken a ‘silent partner’ approach to the forum.
Both Dan and Dave have over-riding control of the forum, but in the interim James and myself have been doing our best to keep things going.
So it gives me great pleasure to welcome Ian to the dark side.
Hopefully the Admins will not mind me taking this step in their absence -
If they do, expect me to turn slate grey very soon - lol

Hmm -
Ian is a Sergeant...
James is a Lord...
I dread to think what that makes me.
Other than a gob-shite of course.

Lord McGrath, yep that sounds about right. Robsey, you're the Commander-In-Chief as things stand.

A car owner's forum is like a man cave - no Mrs allowed in lol. Exception - the Mrs has a keen interest in or owns a Cavalier.

Re: Welcoming Iangsi to the mods team
My missus is the only reason why I still have a Cavalier.
She also owned 2 Cavaliers before I inherited them from her.
That is "exception" enough.

Congratulations Ian, glad to have you aboard.

Re: Welcoming Iangsi to the mods team
Commander in Chief and Head Honcho will always be the site owner...
Therefore Dan, Humbucker.
Superintendant sounds like a position of importance.
I hope you didn't mind me promoting Ian,
I know it was originally your idea a while back.
I decided that I would stick my neck out and do the deed anyway.
I have messaged him with a lengthy job specification, so hopefully all is good.
Actually James,
You are head honcho, as you are the only active member in red.
I am a green, like the rest of your obedient staff

Of course not. I'm not sure why we didn't do it way back when we were last discussing it.
I did see your message the other day but got distracted before I could reply.
You are supposed to be red though. You're only not because I don't have permission to promote you higher than green.
Re: Welcoming Iangsi to the mods team
Ah yes...
I had a bit of a rant on that message, so I deleted it again.
Looks like the next "board meeting" will be at VauxFest in September.
Just after the "It's a Knock-Out McGrath Family Crazy Golf Tournament".
As for the Green thing, I cannot do anything about it either.
I can only make myself go blue, grey or green.

Keep up the good work guys, keeping this forum going it is really a great place to look at some great cavaliers and get motivated to try and finish our own cavs.
