Are steering knuckles same on all the cavs from begining to the end of production? I wonder what's the easiest way of converting from 4 stud to 5 stud on C16NZ engined cav, I thought of putting vectra b hubs but I'm not sure if this steering knuckle diameter is same on all of the cavs.
Steering knuckles
Re: Steering knuckles
The knuckles on the 1.4 and 1.6 vehicles are a smaller diameter than the 1.8, 2.0 and V6 knuckles.
I found this when fitting new disc back plates during my restoration in 2017.

Rears is easier than the fronts. Fronts you may want to look at SAAB vehicles in the same era maybe slightly newer too.
Re: Steering knuckles
Rears are basically bolt on with minor modification regarding handbrake cables. I'll probably try and find the fronts from late calibra.

Consider the drive shaft splines and fitment too.
