Re: What would look best?
Vectra Twin square back box is what I'm putting on mine at some point

Re: What would look best?
twin oval but this answer depends largely on the size of the oval... I'm absolutely for a "no more than needed" approach to exhaust exit diameters, maximum performance, minimum profile. Thinking myself of a twin 2" audi diesel style back-box, so the back pressure is optimal.

Not a fan of "huge loud exhausts" I like a subtle burble - what's yours like?ilovemyelite wrote:i guess you wouldn't like mine then... you wanna hear it though! powerflow DTM mahoosive! haha!Squig wrote:I'm absolutely for a "no more than needed" approach to exhaust exit diameters
Re: What would look best?
A GSI should have twin square. And if you like the jap look why do you have a cavalier?
I hate jap hate look even on evos and scoobs. they just look cheap and charvary. Epsec the burnt edge ones. Same goes for when people put bike pipes on there crappy little saxo/106's.
factory/GM looking always looks better on a standard looking car. tho you would get away with a single or twin oval. But please dont make your rare GSi look crap with a jap look. or you'll make a grown man cry! once you decide get some photos up so can all perv on your car!

Re: What would look best?
sounds the way a v6 should. it's loud, but really deep sounding, very throaty, especially with the k&n panel filter fitted. not like the high pitched farts you hear out of saxo's, this has a lot of meat to it. i will stick a video up at some point on my wip thread so you can hear itEnvoy CDX wrote:Not a fan of "huge loud exhausts" I like a subtle burble - what's yours like?

Re: What would look best?
carnt beat the sound of a good old v6!
Re: What would look best?
Lol I remember when I let mine go to full trhottle in 2nd coming out a village. windows down. With an induction kit. sports cat and full stainless it does sound like a baby v8. It made to police men across a field turn and look. Much Nice sound compared to a scooby.

ha ha,yeh i agree with you.think they sound great with the the deep growl of a induction kit.i used to have a corsa gsi which sounded good with an induction kit 2.

Re: What would look best?
i just bought my new cav 16v sri redtop, i originally bought a powerlow twin oval to fit my blue 16v sri, and put in on the new cav a few weeks ago.it sounds great with the pipercross induction kit fitted to, which came with the purchase.

I now have an ebook, of my own creation, to download to your ereader. ipad, iphone, ipod touch and the kindle. check out my website at http://www.charlesfbond.com for more details.

Re: What would look best?
that video i mentioned... crap quality off of my phone and the exhaust needs taking off and polishing but gives you an idea. it sounds so much better now with K&N panel filter and engine rebuild to boot...
