nice work on the tubby rims although the saabs were definitely unique. i reckon they'd have been perfect if they were an inch or two bigger.

bad lick up with the selector! good job you had a 'spare'. an impromptu upgrade hehehe!

So where can I get one of these metal selectors? :D
Some nice progress made there, I did like the Saab wheels though.

Holding 1 bar for the time being on EDS Phase II , External gate screamer pipe is a bit weird to get used to , might plump it back into the downpipe as its a bit to loud

Looking good! Should be quick with that turbo setup. Not too sure on that AFM - Turbo Pipework but will do the job for now.

Youve been busy. When you swaped gear boxes did you manage to do it with the sub frame still fitted to the car?

Nope , had to remove the subframe , started with ball joints first , rear engine mount , then starting from the rear , undo the 2 wishbone bolts 16mm socket

then the 2 main subframe bolts in the middle 18mm socket , then undo the other to 16mm socket at the front

support the engine on a trolley jack with a bit of wood

and the f28 is a heavey box to lift into place , when the engine is still in the car :o

f20 is bad enough but a f28 is bloody heavy, least it has the thicker splines on the input shaft so its a little easier

I'll agree... it gets so much harder the second time because you used the wrong flywheel/clutch...

Ive been there and done it. Was asking because in the pic I couldnt see the sub frame off the car, and was wondering if you did it with out removing it.

Not much left of that. What condition are the fingers on the presure plate like? It might be 'miniced' to
