Think that I have sussed out the window closure module now...
I am going to use the relays within the module to short the "closure" wire for the window and roof circuits to earth.
As far as I am aware, when triggered by the alarm, the relays stay energised for about 25 seconds, which is enough for everything to close fully.
Saves blowing any circuit boards as well.

Aye, as I said, I think they've tapped into the switch power hence the fried board.
Yes, you are quite right,
there was a red wire in the switch block, which they had cut off, and then tapped in their own power feed wire to a red/grey wire.
Also, I cleaned my ICV last monday...it was swimming in black oil, but this was quite thin and runny.
After cleaning it all out, I sprayed it with wd40, to ensure that it stayed lubricated, and then blew the excess out with an air-line.
I didn't notice any change at first, however on a long run on the wednesday, it appeared to idle smoother, and also responded better on initial start up...none of the tractor style mis-fire.
Still ain't going to pull the skin off a custard, but the car seems better than it has been for ages. Fun to drive again
