Thanks for the comments :D Just got it back from having the thermostat housing seal done, new clutch ,wishbone, ARB links done and on my way home yesterday ,having avoided a suicidal Merc from T boning me and having to explain to the chap the error of his ways  I had a feeling I wasn't going to get home without another incident.....sure enough, sitting at a set of red lights, I spy in my review mirror, Mr I've got no fudgery brain rolling towards me..........................nothing I could do.......crunch...........one pushed in bumper..................fudgery was wedged onto it

Gonna be a very close call not to have it written off/beyond economical repair

Hopefully, when the assessor does appear he or she will see its been cared for and authorise any repairs. If not, take them to the cleaners.

personally I'd buy it back once the insurer has paid out, if they don't want to cover costs, then you should be able to get it repaired and, hopefully, have some change... I'm thinking harsh words would have to be said and maybe dibble informed for undue care and attention

Can't be arsed at the mo..............the bumper's pushed into the boot panel and I'm hoping it'll spring out when the new carrier is put on + tweak on the panel.....to the untrained eye it doesn't look much ,but to any of us you'd see it straight away! The body shop on my work estate are doing it (P.J.Crash Repairs) and are top notch 8-)

The other geezers insurance acknowledged the good condition of the car from the pics i sent them and said no problem getting it repaired :D
