Re: my cavi sri restro
Some good progress there, well done for getting rid of the tat bolted / slapped onto the shell.
Re: my cavi sri restro
Good progress, nothing worse than a Chavved up Cav... Pah !!
I don't think you will need to brace the doors etc, as you will still have a fair chunk of door frame and floor-pan to keep the cav's general shape.
Are those rear lights going too??
You cannot beat a Cavalier in good original condition, just as Mr Vauxhall intended..
although a well done GSI or BTCC replica can look sweet.
Well done - keep up the good work.

Re: my cavi sri restro
My honest opinion is, get a hammer out and start hitting these rusty areas and see how much worse they get, if they all go through into big holes then i'd seriosely sit down and have a think if its worth doing or not.
I know i'll get shot down for saying this as i usually do but i don't wanna see you do aload more work on it just for you to find out its completely rotten and is scrap.
But if you do decide to carry on then just patch it all up, don't go fitting new floor pans etc.. just patch it all as best you can.
