engine managment light and airbag light

ok after the meet lastnite was drivign to camys and the orange engine managment light and airbag light came on they are intermitent comes and goes also when ideling the lights dim and when i rev the engine they get bright does any 1 knwo or have a clue as to whats hapened im going to replace teh battery today whats the length of time to leave the battery disconected to reset teh engine managment light

Not sure as to why the lights are on, could just be a sensor that's playing up. To clear the fault codes on the ECU, i waited 25 mins, i think it's around that time mark.

alternators knackered only puting 11.5 volts into the battery so gona try get one and get it fitted tried to take the old one out and it doesnt was to budge

plug into tech1 or do a paper clip test, at least you can read any fault codes that way:

check the wiring for the seatbelt pretensioner,under the seat.for the airbag light.
