Re: new member approval
Here's the reply I got, hope it's of some use.
Many thanks mate, much appreciated.
Username: Cav1.4L
E-mail: Cavalierfan at mail.com
I received an e-mail from them 22.02.2014 (the day I applied to join) which said
'Your account is currently inactive and will need to be approved by an
administrator before you can log in. Another email will be sent when this
has occurred.
Your password has been securely stored in our database and cannot be
retrieved. In the event that it is forgotten, you will be able to reset it
using the email address associated with your account.
Thank you for registering.
Thanks, cavmk3oc team'
So they must have received my request. I'd already tried on an old log in with forgotten details and that didn't work and I'd tried another new account via my daughter's email address. I got the same response as above then nothing else, so it might be something on their system which is sending out auto responses but not letting them know?
Anyhow many thanks once again, much appreciated.

Cheers, that's my cavalier related good deed of the week done.
Re: new member approval
Thanks, Tommy much appreciated.
Re: new member approval
Just to add to this, I was on the 'Autoshite' forum earlier, where there were a couple of members who mentioned they couldn't join the forum. Don't know the ins and outs of it, but sounds like there is/was a problem with new accounts? Seems a shame to lose potential new members. The thread is here: http://autoshite.com/topic/15626-cavali ... ude/page-3

Re: new member approval
Thanks for the heads up. I'm not familiar with that forum and don't have a user account, so can't post to confirm that there isn't any issue with user registrations on the CavMk3OC forum (proof of successful forum registrations can be seen here: memberlist.php?mode=&sk=c&sd=d). We do get a lot of spam accounts trying to sign up, so it is possible that any unusual usernames might have been recognised as such, but I will search the memberlist and manually approve any outstanding accounts if your pals want to confirm their registered usernames.wafers wrote:Just to add to this, I was on the 'Autoshite' forum earlier, where there were a couple of members who mentioned they couldn't join the forum.
