windscreen pillar hole ? anyone had them repaired

hi ive got a hole on the os windscreen pillar which you can see when you open the door and a little bit of the water drain channel thing?? has rotted away anyone had them repaired and rough price

I'm sure it can be repaired easy enough. Nobodys gonna know a rough price for a job like that. You will have to take it to a few bodyshops and see what they say. I wouldn't wanna pay more than £100 though, unless the windscreen needs to come out.

if your welding a repair which is the proper way to do it then you'll need the screen out as the heat build up from welding might crack it. i repaired both on a rs1600i escort i had, they were double skinned, for strength i would assume, so i guess the vauxhall ones will be similar.
