body trim how to remove the coloured bit??
hi ive got a cav gls making a sri rep I was wondering how to remove the chrome strip so I can make it red cheers

Think they just clip off, may be bonded on, on the front there's 2 corners either side of the number plate, if you take them off, I presume they just pry off, you might get started from there.

you have to take the colourcoded bit of the bumper off from the black bit

cheers lads seems a bit of a faff just to change the colour of the centre of the trim best battle on!

If you pullthe strip out, most likely it will bend and won't look right afterwards.
Someone used some form of tape to cover theirs previously and it looked ok.

ahh ill try that first mate old spice said hes just used tape/vinyl on previous Vauxhalls back in the day

Go for the tape, far easier,
Do you still have the door trims on? guess they are chromed aswell? if so, they will be a pig as they are a metal insert. Tape best way for these aswell.
If not, no bother!
