At last, a helpful Vauxhall dealer!

Post by badwez »

Having had many years of dealing with various Vauxhall dealerships across the south, and knowing how snobby/unhelpful they can be with customer service in the parts/servicing department (esp. perrys in kent), I've been gobsmacked at the fantastic level of customer service at 'Skurrays' (www.skurrays.co.uk ;01793 883600). The parts manager (Mr Ivor Probert) is a great fan of the older vauxhalls (and esp. Cavaliers), and couldn't have been more helpful with my request, even to the point in contacting other Vauxhall dealerships requesting the part (only a breather hose worth less than £6), as their one no longer stocked it. It's a great shame that not a dealerships are as helpful.
Thank you Mr probert, your help and attitude was much appreciated.

Glad to hear it.

It would help them to keep up their levels of customer service if you wrote them a letter telling them how please you were with this chap's help - in this day and age of staff redundancies, job threats and negativity, a letter of recommendation would be appreciated.

I had already thought of doing just that, but didn't want to get this bloke into trouble for spending so much time on such a low value item.
