Steering wheel retrim

Post by TurboDan »

Just seen this steering wheel retrimmed on the scooby forum. I've always wanted to get mine done and after seeing this i'm very tempted

He said it cost him £135 inc postage and he sends you one allready done and you send your old one back to him and he then gives you a £50 deposit back.

Looks like a mint job, exactly how i wouldhave mine done too except for the red line at the top.

I'd imagine that's very difficult to do as you have to get it really right before stitching it in place so it doesn't come loose...

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

Used to be a guy that did them at the Capri shows, I bought one for mine. Really nicely done. It's a good few years ago but I think I paid about half that for it.

Used to do them a long time ago. Can't see him making much at that price. Is it proper hydes he uses. You need a good walking foot sewing machine to get it right
....with a brew and my favourite biscuits.
