Not very impressive,,,,,,, but I cut the badge section out out of a hatch spoiler, Fibre glassed the 66mm hole, and then filled and soothed.

You need to go to your local paint suppliers, they will be able to match any painted panel you take in, say take your petrol flap in or wing mirror casing etc.. and get it matched to that and it should be perfect then so long as its painted right. Allot of coulor matching is down to how you paint it not bad paint itself.

Lots of factors can affect paint coulor, air preassure, spray gun fan, prepping, drying, differant laquers, heat.

Near me we have a few paint suppliers that i use: Colourtone, car colours, supertune

All will be able to put any paint you want into a spray can for around £7 +vat (roughly)

this is how me and my mate picked her up then 3 miles later and 3 massive backfires and we were left stranded trying to re time a replacement dizzy to get her running again to get the 80 miles home lol should have borrowed his mums fronty and car trailer lol
anyway got it recovered and now we are restoring it at the weekends. I don't know how it has a years mot.

we figured we would see what really needs doing under the skin

starting to shape some sheet steel ready to weld her back to health

unfortunately i don't have any pics of the finished state of this side but I do want to be sorting out better pics of before and after of the rest of the build but you get the idea of how extreme this rot is. The drivers footwell has been previously patched and the rot has made it so we need to cut the floor out and fabricate it back in with new. should be an interesting learning curve for both me and my mate. once i have helped him with this i will be turning my hand to my novavan as that needs some attention aswell

Well in the last week decided to build a hydraulic tube bender from scratch. Even made the dies to suit 38mm cds tube.
It's almost finished, just needs a few nuts and bolts and bit of a paint
