Cav gsi the 4th
After 2 years have passed i said I would not get involved in another gsi project but now my lad of 21 has found one that was sold originally by his old local vauxhall dealer
so car will arrive tomorrow morning not the best of states by what he's told me but it will keep me busy over the summer
Still got scars on my hands from removing the dash of my old 1 pics to follow ..........

Re: Cav gsi the 4th
removing the dash on my cav turbo was one of the worst jobs ive done on the cav, nearly as bad as removing the transfer box, with the engine still in the car, Adspoolplayer wrote:After 2 years have passed i said I would not get involved in another gsi project but now my lad of 21 has found one that was sold originally by his old local vauxhall dealer

That's the part at which I would go buy a bottle of scotch and hope that the mess sorts itself out.... Absolutely screw that lol. I don't ever plan to strip the dashboard apart on my Cavaliers, especially after seeing that...

Re: Cav gsi the 4th
Yeah, she's looking fairly ripe there.
Nothing that can't be fixed / repaired / replaced though I'd imagine.

Looks like you've got some welding to do, I hope it goes to plan
