After seeing my cavalier TD go and replacing with a 1.7TDi Mk 4 astra Estate i find myself once again missing the cavalier.... will i ever learn... i doubt it.

So the hunt begins for a new one. The astra will stay owing to some short sighted tosser at Vauxhall back in the late 80's deciding a cavalier Mk3 estate wasn't needed.

So.. i;'m wondering what i should get. I see petrol has dropped in price so i could by something fun... or i could stick with sensible and buy another diesel and tweak it to be not quite so sensible.....

Ive got a mate who is a vauxhall mechanic buy trade so am going to let him do the work as I got a haynes manual today and it looks more complicated than I first thought so am kinda gutted that I bought a car that I cant work on but never mind once its fixed I wount have to worry about it no more.

Right, T reg Astra Estate LS, 116k 1.7TD - Swapped for a Cav GSI i had no time nor money to repair. Used for the courier work i indulge in.
Rear Left - R reg Vectra SRI140 - 2.0 Ecowrec - 144k - £150 Cat D, MOT until June
Front Left - R reg Vectra CDX estate, 2.0 Ecowrec. 160k - £0 given to me with known faults. Under repair to be sold.
