very nice people :D As for me, i've done only one mod to mine, CLEAN :D Everything else bog standard, but a guy across the road the other day said to me, and he's knocked on a few years, "thats the cleanest engine i've seen in years". my response - :D

Thanks mate. :) I cant afford to do any mods or anything, so i just concentrated on keeping everything gleaming.

Nice :D almost identical to mine then, being the same lump and all. But your exhaust manifold cover is more shiny than mine :o how? lol i wire brushed mine and its come up ok ish but its not what i call shiny :( any tips? cheers

i realy dont know. thats just how it was after it was cleaned. you could rub it down and paint it with heat resistant paint?

ye thats an idea. I'll leave it as it is for now, wire brushing isnt too bad i guess. good excersice for my arm too :D

theres muck in there cos its my daily driver, and has just come back from a trip down south , i havent got time to be polishing it every 2 seconds, its not practical.

A car is made to get dirty and to be driven, dont get me wrong, i'd love a show car, and do give mine a monthly wash, but i think a bit of dirt and grime adds character!
