I dunno if quite relevant as it regards the ice and frost we had b4 it snowed again bt the number of idiots and :hair that tryed to hitch a lift on the tow bar of my cav in the ice then struggle to climb hills was IMO shocking. All the more so wen ya consider most of the cars are new(ish) (2003 and newer) struggling lol. I just had to laugh gently cruising up slopes in second and 20 and pulling away from the numpties.

Wonder how many idiots i'll encounter later on wen take it out in the 4in's of snow this morning has left here b4 we hit the heady height of the predicted - 8C tonight.

Well lads and ladies, we also have many inches of snow in mank land, and the dentist called me to cancel the appointment as he can't get to his practise in Buxton

Referring to the previous rants... saw some classically poor winter driving myself with a BMW 6 series slipping, sliding and then parking (quite smoothly if completely sideways) and giving up on the whole driving thing.

Well i got up this morning and the car was buried and i never even attempted to drive, just put on 2 t-shirts 2 jumpers my padded 1 piece overalls a woolly hat gloves and my big boots with 2 pairs of socks and walked in (5/6miles)

Problem is walking in snow is hard graft and i can walk in, in just over an hour normally. Today it took me 45mins to do about 2.5 miles and turbodan picked me up and drove me the rest of the way in with his 4x4.

I think most places are in for a lot of snow this week. Just hope I can get back up the A9 on Thursday to go home from work. This afternoon I heard it was shut.

It's snowed a bit again this evening, will probably snow again in the night, so I'll brush it off the windows and drive into town as normal.

On another note, I fell aspleep last night at 8pm... and awoke to a giant pair of tit's covering the rear glass on the cav. Courtesy of Emma, Megan and Darryl (Emma's sister and respective boyfriend).. oh and a 4 foot cock on the bin.

Lost my handbrake today - blaming the snow for being cold and making the metal contract and snap.

It was the coldest night of the winter last night going by what the TV said this morning. Well at 8am this morning it was -12 c here , so how cold did you lot have?
My 2 year old work van took a lot of cranking and heating the plugs to get it going, but the Astra only had 3 heats on the glow plugs and started with no problems. :D
