So what you been up to this weekend?

I had the Cav MOTed Saturday morning. Then in the afternoon I borrowed a trailer and dug my quad bike out from the back of my old mans garage.

First time the quad has been out this year, It started no problem to, still had plenty charge in the battery. Had to cut short our fun tho, as it run out of petrol. Had to switch to the reserve to get back to the car. I forgot to take the spair petrol can and top up the quad before leaving  .

Then this afternoon we all went out for a run in the Cav. Stoped off at a few places to have a sandwitch, a pee and an ice cream.

The weather was good most of the time, had a few sunny showers and the wind was starting to blow more as the afternoon went on.

That was my weekend.

Nice pics there buddy, sounds like you had fun :)
I didn't do much, still looking for a cheap enough fuel pump :( My beloved Cav is still waiting in the drive just itching to get back out on the road. Just went out cycling really, and stayed in.

For the most part, I slept. Pattern is completely fubared now so I barely know when its day or night (apart from looking outside).
Took the rear astra beam to a machining company this morning who have said they will sort out that sheared bolt and then went to bed.

Knackered.

Thanks. The quad pics were taken next to a beach at a shooting range and the Cav pics were taken near Aviemore and Grantown up in the hills.

That will be easy fix for them. The joys of working nights, when you have things that need doing throu the day. The need for sleep soon catches up with you.

Well heres what ive got up this weekend. Saturday morning I was working, then cleaned the Cav in the afternoon.

Today I went to see a trailer someone had for sale.Took the Cav out since it was a nice warm day (got up to 25c). The trailer turned out to be what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay. So I bought it :D

The bloke said some nice things about the Cav made me smile, then he said him and some of his mates killed a Cav turbo for its engine to fit in to a Corsa. I said what a waste of a Cav turbo :( .

Came home the long way with a stop in Banff for something to eat.

Then tonight after I came out of the gym some silly cow in a blue pug estate car nearly took the front off the Cav. She never slowed down coming on to a round about I was half way round. I was not happy at her   . Ive got her number plate might have a wee trip to the cop shop tomorro.

That was my week end.

im fine no pain except when I move some ways. Ive a lump on my sholder ware the bone is sticking up. The docs at A&E just put my arm in a sling. Its ment to fix its self, but if not ill need an opperation. Got the fracture clinick in 3 weeks to check hows it healing. It my left arm thats took the hit, so could have been worse if it was my right one.

Sitting at work nursing my head, smacked it on the door of the cav on the way in. Feel iffy.

Put the astra back together completely yesterday.
Cav's had nothing really done to it.
