The Analogue Clock, the Dual Info Display (Digital Clock and temp readout) and the Fuel (trip) Computers - whichever is fitted, all have only one bulb in them.

The heater control panel also has only one pathetic bulb fitted... which is an absolute pig to get at, to replace.

Good news about the tax and ticket :thumb

If you need any info about fitting the DID or temp sensor then just ask. :)

From memory, fitting a DID is a doddle... assuming you are reasonable with basic electronics.. hardest part is finding the connectors, which are usually taped up out of the way.

If you have interior lighting - dash etc, then the clock fuse is in place.

It all depends on what you have in your car, as to what fuses you need.
I have a mid-range Cavalier LS, and that has about 6 or 7 fuse points with no fuses fitted. For Air Con, Caravan split charge, rear electric windows, electric mirrors, Auto box, headlight washers and so on.

If you have an Owners manual, then you can go through the items that your car is NOT fitted with.. and thus the fuses you don't need ;)

Sure - that's fine..

That's what it is posted up for :thumb

I did wonder about putting the fuse values up, but the fuse colour is painted on the socket for each one in the fuse box.

Try here for fuse values

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4904

However, the fuse colour is painted between the contacts of each fuse blade. ;)

Fuses 8 and 9 come to mind.

hehehe you look like you're about to lamp the photographer in that pic haha! good work though, have you noticed an improvement in running? let emmett keep his wheels though, they dont do your motor any favours. they look like wolfrace ones. i liked the fanblades, thought they were subtle, and even the 16s you put on were good, but not keen on those 17s. then again it's all down to personal taste at the end of the day. good work though.

yea the 17's dont suit it
there a nice wheel but not for a cavalier
i havent had a run in the car yet as its not finished, needs a seal for the intercooler pipe somewere as theres an air leak
might look into doin the white ring mod for a little more power, i like the 16" khans, i might be gettin a set of TSW Stealths and £100 for my 5 fanblades so i might do that deal an if i dont like the stealths i'll just grab another set of fanblades
i've a boost gauge to go into the car now aswell to check wat boost its runnin at

17 is a good size for a cavalier though. id quite like to try 18s, but any bigger and i think it's overdoing it. ive got 18s on the omega, but the offset is totally wrong for the cavalier. in fact, 19s would be good on the omega and 18s on the cavalier, but as it stands its 18 and 17 respectively.

I had 18's on mine but it tramlined like a b*tch took them off and went down to 17's again.

Nice car though - great thread - cant wait to see more pics :)

Wish my GLS was in better condition.

I have now made the decision to break it as the floor is shot and so are both the rear arches :wall

now these stickers are only on for a laugh, im gettin a full respray so its only a bit of fun until then, once the respray is complete no stickers will be on the car

i settled for fanblades, full set of 4, with 4 caps an badges
lowered on 60mm cavalier springs all round
changed the air box on the top till a vectra 1.7td inlet manifold
took the white ring out
turned the pump
upped the boost with the MBC
strut brace for a bit of sturdy-ness
yellow calipers all round
all 4 wind deflectors ( just need a roof bubble now )
full sri kit
font mount intercooler from a frontera jeep ( 3.1 turbo coming next hopefully )

still not finished with the cav yet

bought one of these from a local reiger supplier for £60
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-OPEL-CAV ... 0434382156

and a set of lights from ebay, i bought these actual ones
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT

i'll update hopefully next monday, reiger supplier says usually takes 7 days till receive something from germany
lights were sent today but was told by the seller can take 5 days

hopefully this day next week all stickers removed, new lights in, bonnet extension delivered and painted then put on an i'll update with pics
