no sure about actual mpg but from 20 quid mixed driving was lucky to get 100 miles, the v6 vectra was about the same so the v6 was wot i always went for cos its more grunt etc, and gsi model for same fuel cost as 2 litre!

Not much in it between the 2 litre and 2.5. The 2 litre im sure should see around 30 mpg mixed driving. Mine was about that, maybe a tad more. I like the vectras especially with the half leather. Cheap to find if it don't have it.

Don't get a 2.5, 100miles to 20quid on motorway not going over 70. 60 miles around town. My 2.0 litre redtop is the same on the motorway but at 90 mph. General driving usually sees 80 - 90 miles to 20quid. The 2.5 is a pain to work on and maintain in my opinion
....with a brew and my favourite biscuits.

He already has a 2 litre. I was just adding to a previous comment. The v6 is awesome tho you can't beat that noise! I personally found my gsi vectras to be not much thirstier than the 2 litre. I too don't like the idea of working on one but my c25xe is just superb and i have more faith it it than the vectra v6i
